La playlist di questo mese
è tutta dedicata al genere
più onesto e sincero
del panorama musicale:
il Funk.
Il Funk fino ad oggi non ha ricevuto da parte della critica la stessa attenzione riservata al rock, al jazz e al blues, nonostante esso abbia influenzato profondamente tutta la musica contemporanea, dagli anni settanta fino ad oggi.
Jabo Starks e Clyde Stubblefield, Zigaboo Modeliste, David Garibaldi, Mike Clark e tanti altri, hanno dato un contributo enorme allo sviluppo del drumming moderno. I loro grooves hanno alimentato per decenni molti altri stili, in particolar modo il Rap, R&B, l’Acid jazz e tutta l’elettronica in generale.
